Situated in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley at the foot of Shepard`s
Crag is the historic Borrowdale Hotel.
Retaining its original charm and traditional character and set
amidst private and extensive gardens where you can enjoy afternoon
tea, refreshing drinks, sit, relax and absorb the natural beauty of
the Lake District that surrounds you.
The lounge bar and conservatory are open for light lunch and
afternoon tea, while in the evening you can experience our excellent
6 course silver service dinner which is served in the restaurant.
With comfortable and cosy individually styled rooms with modern en
suite facilities. 4 Poster bed rooms are available for a special
romantic break, family rooms for that adventurous break with the
kid’s, also dog friendly accommodation is available upon request.
The Leisure Facilities of our sister hotel Lodore Falls are
available to guests of The Borrowdale Hotel, a short walk of only 5
minutes away.

Children and extra beds All children under 2 years are charged £5.00 per night
and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged £15.00 per night and person
for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/baby cots in a room is 1.
Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed
by the hotel
Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs
and have to be paid separately in the hotel.
Cancellation If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a
fixed amount of GBP 80.00 will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of
the reservation will be charged.
Deposit A fixed amount of £80.00 per room will be charged on the
day of booking and is non-refundable.
